Quetta, 19 July 2026: Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) is pleased to announce that the elections of the Balochistan Golf Association (BGA) were successfully conducted on 19 Jul 2026 at Quetta Golf Club under the supervision of the Election Commission of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB), with representation from the Provincial Olympic Association and the Pakistan Golf Federation. The electoral process was carried out in accordance with the Constitution of the Pakistan Golf Federation, the Constitution of the Balochistan Golf Association, and the directions of the Pakistan Sports Board. The Election Commission scrutinized and verified the election process before confirming the results. Karachi, Pakistan: The 26th Sindh Open Golf Championship concluded successfully at the prestigious Defence Authority Country & Golf Club, Karachi, after several days of high-quality competition featuring Pakistan's finest professional and amateur golfers. The championship's biggest highlight was the exceptional performance of Omar Khalid Hussain, who recorded the Best Overall Score of the Tournament. Competing in the Amateur Division, Omar produced rounds of 72, 70 and a brilliant final-round 67 to finish at 7-under par (209) over 54 holes, securing both the Overall Championship and the Amateur Championship. His outstanding display underlined the remarkable rise of Pakistan's amateur golfing talent. The Professional Championship was won by Muhammad Minhaj Maqsood Waraich, who carded an impressive 5-under par (211) over 54 holes to claim the title.
