Pakistan's top-ranked professional golfer, Ahmed Baig, recorded another notable international result by finishing tied 7th at the am green IGPL Morocco Rising Stars 2026, staged at the Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort, Morocco, from 28–31 May 2026. Competing in a highly competitive field on the Asian Development Tour, Ahmed Baig closed the tournament with a four-round total of 277 (73, 66, 70, 68), finishing 11-under par and securing a place among the top ten players on the final leaderboard. Following a challenging opening round, Ahmed demonstrated remarkable resilience and consistency, highlighted by an outstanding second-round score of 66. His strong performance throughout the final rounds enabled him to climb the leaderboard and finish tied for seventh position. Ahmed Baig continues to be one of Pakistan’s most successful professional golfers on the international circuit, representing the country with distinction in events across Asia, the Middle East and beyond. 15th Maj Gen Shahid Hamid Memorial Open Golf Championship concluded at Multan Golf Club Cantt, with Matloob Ahmed delivering an outstanding performance to claim the Professional Title against a strong national field.
