In accordance with the directions of the Pakistan Sports Board and in line with Pakistan Golf Federation's commitment to transparency, fairness and athlete welfare, comprehensive age verification of participating junior golfers has been conducted for the first time through an independent dental age assessment process. The objective of this exercise is to ensure that every player competes in the correct age category and that championship titles, rankings and prizes are awarded strictly according to eligibility criteria. Following the age verification process, a small number of participants were identified as being above the maximum age limit prescribed for the junior categories. To ensure fairness to all competitors, Pakistan Golf Federation has created a separate category for these players during the current championship and a compensation plan has been approved for this event only. It is clarified that, effective from future championships, players found to be outside the prescribed age limits will not be eligible for junior category prizes, titles or rankings. Players who have concerns regarding their age verification results may submit a formal written application to Pakistan Golf Federation for review. Each case will be considered on its merits in accordance with the established review procedure.
