The General Body of Federal Golf Association announces that Mr. Faheem Haider, MD / CEO Mari Energies Pvt. Limited, has been elected as President of the Federal Golf Association for the term 2025–2029. Mr. Faheem Haider is also Mari Petroleum Company Limited’s nominated Director on the PIOL Board since July 15, 2021. He possesses a strong understanding of the Exploration & Production (E&P) business from technical, operational, and commercial perspectives. During his international career spanning over 28 years, Mr. Haider has held various technical and leadership roles with renowned international oil and gas companies including: Union Texas Petroleum OMV Pakistan Exploration GmbH Helix RDS Limited, UK BG Group Plc, UK Neptune Energy Group, UK (formerly Engie E&P International) He holds a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering & Production Management (with Distinction) from Imperial College London, UK, a Postgraduate Diploma from the College of Petroleum Studies, Oxford, UK, and a BSc (Honors) in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore, Pakistan. Pakistan Golf Federation proudly announces that three Pakistani professionals will represent the country at the Nam A Bank Vietnam Masters (Asian Development Tour) scheduled from 17 – 19 March 2026 at Royal Long An Golf & Country Club, Vietnam, with a prize purse of US$100,000. 🏌️ Players Representing Pakistan ⛳ Muhammad Alam Currently ranked 3rd best professional golfer in Pakistan, Muhammad Alam has been one of the most consistent performers on the PGF Professional Circuit. During the 2024–2025 season, he earned PKR 6,284,202 in prize money across multiple championships, highlighted by a victory at the 3rd President PGA Open GC and strong performances in major national events including the COAS Open Golf Championship and Defence Raya Open. He will participate in the Vietnam Masters under the Country Exemption Category. ⛳ Muhammad Minhaj Maqsood Waraich Ranked 4th best professional golfer in Pakistan, Minhaj Maqsood has also delivered an impressive season with total earnings of PKR 5,383,765 on the PGF circuit. The 15th Pakistan Junior Amateur Golf Championship (Faldo Series Trials) concluded at Rumanza Golf & Country Club, Multan, under the auspices of the Pakistan Golf Federation.
